We lay the load-bearing base and subbase courses beneath the asphalt pavement using a selected aggregate mix prepared at the plant.

The base courses that carry the load of the pavement are laid with an aggregate mix that meets the gradation specified in the design. Because layer thickness and degree of compaction directly determine the service life of the pavement, both are checked on site in real time.
